ABOUT CHEF TY
Cooking has always been Chef Ty’s escape—his way of releasing stress from the world and finding peace through creativity. What started as necessity quickly became purpose. As a child, he often waited for his mother to cook, until one moment changed everything. She told him she wouldn’t always be there to cook for him and that he needed to learn for himself. Though frustrated at the time, that moment sparked a lifelong journey.

Through learning flavors, techniques, and cuisines from different cultures, Chef Ty discovered how food can tell stories and connect people. In 2021, during a season of personal pain and growth, he founded The Foodie Bistro, pushing himself to explore what he was truly capable of.
